About
Hamish Joy is an independent singer-songwriter and producer whose musical footprint bridges deep cultural roots with a modern, global sonic palette.
After stepping away from a prolific period of songwriting across his school and college years, Hamish has stepped back into the studio bunker to resurrect, refine, and release a deep archive of long-dormant compositions. In this journey of musical revival, he has encountered new inspirations that are themselves branching out into new compositions.
Striking an intentional balance between human vulnerability and cutting-edge studio arrangement, his sound maps a terrain of emotions ranging from hope, regret, pride and self-realization. Driven by rich vocal performances, intimate storytelling, and layered compositions, Hamish Joy crafts a timeless space where classic vocal balladry meets the atmospheric textures of modern indie pop and soft rock.
